Frequently Asked Questions

What will my picnic look like?
Currently all picnics will be neutral colors in regards to pillows, blankets, and table decor. Color themes can be accented through florals if appropriate. This will be discussed during your consultation. 
Where can I host my picnic?
Picnics can be set up in your back yard, in your home, a rented venue, and at any public park* within the Greater Cincinnati Area.

There are some public parks that do not allow set up. 
How much of a deposit is needed?
A non refundable 50% retainer fee is required at booking.  
What is your cancellation policy?
Any cancellation will result in the loss of the non refundable 50% retainer fee. With the exception of a picnic cancelled 1 month in advance you will received a partial refund of 25%.

What if the size of my group changes?
Any change made to the reservation made within 4 weeks of your picnic will not be guaranteed a refund. The Prettiest Picnic Co reserves the right to make decisions on a case by case basis.
What is your weather policy?
(1) In the event there is inclement weather The Prettiest Picnic Co reserves the right to refuse set up. TPPC will apply the 50% retainer fee to another date within 3 months of original date. 
(2) Event location can be moved indoors up to 24 hours in advance of date & time. 
(3) Certain items such as florals may be billed despite weather circumstances. TPPC reserves the right to make these decisions on a case by case basis.

What if I am running late to my picnic?
The person whom which has signed the contract and is responsible for the picnic must arrive on time or within 15 minutes of the start time to ensure no penalty. 
(1) A second authorized  can be added to your picnic contract to meet your picnic stylist on location.
(2) If you arrive more than 15 minutes late a fee will be applied based on minutes. 
(3) If you arrive an hour late TPPC reserves the right to pack up the picnic.
(4) Your time slot remains the same despite arrival time.

Why do you need a credit card on file?
We require a valid credit card and credit authorization form on file due to the following reasons-
(1) Damages
(2) Missing or broken items
(3) The client arrived more than 15 minutes late to the event. 
(4) The client leaves the picnic unattended before TPPC arrives to pack up.
In the case of any of these events TPPC will advise you and charge accordingly.
